Dallas International Film Festival Family Day at NorthPark Center This Weekend

This Saturday, April 14, is Family Day at NorthPark Center! The all day event is sponsored by the Dallas International Film Festival (DIFF) and will feature screenings of several family friendly films from around the world. But that’s not all the fun to be had; there will be musicians, artists, performers, arts and crafts projects, a bounce house, a face painter and more!

Throughout the day, there will be three films screened at AMC NorthPark Center, followed by an outdoor screening at NorthPark’s CenterPark Garden:

12 pm – Oblivion Island: Haruka and The Magic Mirror

An animated Japanese film about a young girl on a magical quest to reconnect with the memories of her mother.

2:30 pm – First Position

An American film that follows six gifted ballet students as they compete in the Youth America Grand Prix for scholarships, jobs, and kudos.

5 pm – Cowgirls N Angels

An American film following a rebellious young girl, who explores the world of her estranged father – the rodeo.

8 pm – E.T. The Extraterrestrial

An American favorite from 1982 that explores the friendship of a young boy and the alien he rescues.
